About these terms

These terms apply when you use the Swamy Foods website or place an order with us. By sending an order you agree to them. Swamy Foods is based in Cranbourne North, Victoria, Australia.

Our products

Our products are 100% vegetarian. Spice blends are ground fresh to order; appalams and vadams are imported and kept in stock. Photos are a guide only.

Allergens. Some products contain or may have been made near common allergens such as peanuts, tree nuts, sesame, gluten and mustard. If you have an allergy or special diet, please read the pack or contact us before you order. We can't promise any product is free of an allergen unless we confirm it in writing.

Placing an order

When you send an order through the website, you are asking us to supply the items. It is not a contract until we confirm it, for example by sending you an invoice. We may adjust or decline an order, for example if an item is out of stock, and we will tell you if we do. You can follow your order with Track order, using your order reference and email.

Prices and invoices

Prices are in Australian dollars (AUD). Prices on the website do not include delivery. We email you an invoice with the final total, including delivery, before you pay. If we are registered for GST, the invoice will say so and show the GST amount. We may change prices at any time, but a price on a confirmed invoice will not change.

Delivery

We deliver across Australia. Delivery rates are subject to the quantity and weight of the products in your order, and where it is going. We confirm the delivery amount on your invoice before you pay.

We use Australia Post or a courier. Timeframes are estimates only and can be affected by delays outside our control. Please give us a correct and complete address, and tell us quickly if something changes. If a parcel is returned because the address was wrong, we may need to charge for sending it again.

Payment

You do not pay on the website. We accept bank transfer or cash on delivery, as agreed with you. Our bank details are on your invoice. We usually pack and send an order once payment is arranged.

Changing or cancelling an order

Please contact us as soon as you can at enquiry@swamyfoods.com.au or 0493 129 799. We can usually change or cancel an order before it is packed. Spice blends are made to order, so we may not be able to cancel once we have started making yours.

Returns, refunds and consumer guarantees

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure, and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

If something arrives damaged, wrong or not as described, please contact us within a few days of delivery, with a photo if you can, and we will make it right. For hygiene and food-safety reasons we do not offer refunds for change of mind on food products.

Your account

You do not need an account to order. If you create one, keep your password private and give us accurate details. You are responsible for what is done through your account. We may suspend an account that is misused.

Using the website

Please do not misuse the website: no attempts to break into it, overload it, copy it automatically in bulk, or place orders using someone else's details without permission.

Our content

The website, its text, logo and photos belong to Swamy Foods or are used with permission. Please do not copy them for commercial use without asking us first.

Our responsibility

Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under the Australian Consumer Law or other laws that cannot be excluded. Otherwise, to the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control.

How we handle your personal information is explained in our privacy policy.

Changes and governing law

We may update these terms from time to time; the version on the website when you order applies to that order. These terms are governed by the law of Victoria, Australia, and the courts of Victoria. Last updated: 12 October 2026.
